Copernicus Marine distributes near-real-time level-3 satellite significant-wave-height and wind-speed observations. La Bouée represents active missions rather than virtual track points as the public resources.

FMI marine observations WFS
FMI’s open-data WFS provides machine-readable marine observations from Finnish coastal and Baltic Sea stations. La Bouée uses supported wave records for height, period, direction and water temperature where reported. Observation intervals and parameter availability vary by station, and recent data may be corrected after initial publication.

Irish Lights MetOcean observations
The Irish Lights AllMetOcean dataset publishes hourly averages from equipped aids to navigation around Ireland. La Bouée uses locations that report valid significant wave height and average wave period, with water temperature and atmospheric measurements where present. Sensors can be unavailable and hourly averaging can smooth short-lived extremes.

NOAA National Data Buoy Center
NOAA’s National Data Buoy Center serves recent observations from moored buoys, coastal stations and partner platforms. La Bouée displays supported stations with their latest significant wave height, period, direction and available meteorological measurements. Real-time files generally contain the latest 45 days and have passed automated checks, but station ownership, reporting intervals and available sensors vary. Recent values may not have completed final archival quality control.

NOAA Tides & Currents predictions
NOAA Tides & Currents, operated by NOAA CO-OPS, publishes tide predictions and coastal water-level products for supported United States stations. La Bouée requests station predictions for the displayed dates; predictions are guidance and can differ from observed levels influenced by weather and local conditions.

Queensland Coastal Data System waves
Queensland’s Coastal Data System publishes measured and derived wave parameters from anchored monitoring buoys. La Bouée presents supported sites with significant and maximum wave height, zero-crossing and peak periods, peak direction and sea-surface temperature where available. Records are measurements, not forecasts, and site outages or archive publication schedules can create gaps.
