What this source publishes
SiMCosta describes itself as an integrated network of floating or fixed platforms that regularly collect meteorological and oceanographic data with free public access. Its stations stretch from Rio Grande do Sul to Amapá and are operated with partner universities and port companies; its buoys measure wave height, period and direction, and on most of them sea temperature and wind.
