Puertos del Estado is the Spanish public body that maintains marine measurement and forecasting systems for Spain's port system. In The Buoy, this source covers Spain.

The official Oceanography page explains that Puertos del Estado operates measurement networks, prediction services, and climate datasets. Its FAQ adds that wave data notably comes from the offshore REDEXT buoy network and the coastal REDCOS network, both providing hourly data.
